Where Is My Bill? (Lonchura malabarica)

As I was walking across the reeds to a clearing on the edge of the drain water pool, this little fellow flew in and sat on a stem bang in front of me. Sadly, on a second look, realised that almost his entire bill was missing. Managed to get a shot before he took off.
