Whimbrel and Redshank (Numenius phaeopus, Tringa totanus)

First I thought the greater bird is the Curlew, but later I realised that there ´s a difference. I looked it up and then I was convinced this could only be the Whimbrel! BTW in Dutch the Curlew is named the ´Wulp´ and the Whimbrel the ´Regenwulp´, translated in English the ´Raincurlew´.

really miss the North Sea, we hope to spend a few days in the Netherlands later this year, when I've sufficiently recuperated and if the COVID situation will permit.
