Lovely capture |=)| And thanks for your usual, precise info. I frequently find that sends me looking stuff up, such as how to tell the subspecies apart and which ones I've seen. I didn't know until just now that I've probably seen three subspecies of whimbrel. Cool |=)|
 
Though we have lots of water birds here ..we miss the smaller waders as this one you posted!!! Excellent capture Stanley!!!
