A beautiful image of this Whinchat JJ and it really stands out beautifully in that setting.

One of my favourite birds JJ. This is a brilliant detailed and well lit capture you have of this beauty, well done.

Oooh!!! It's ages since I've seen one of these, ever since they abandoned my Patch about 6 years ago!

A super picture this JJ - very well done and many thanks for showing him to us my friend.

Such a perfect shot, JJ! The focus, bokeh, pose and detail are wonderful.

Fabulous bird, perch, pose, and background. Great colors, feather detail, and head turn. Impressive JJ! TFS!

Lovely shot of this bandit-masked Whinchat JJ. In all technical respects, impeccable.

There's something oddly symbolic in this image. Barbed wire is used by humans to contain, or keep out, animals or other humans; it's no impediment to birds though, and for the Whinchat it just serves as a perch. A reminder of how human beings have always envied birds' power of flight.
