This one I shot it a bit too late (6:20pm) and light had already gone... in fact, all birds where also gone 2 minutes later...

Alex, this reminds me the only White-bellied Mountain-Gem I saw in Costa Rica... it was in Cinchona... and perched in a string... maybe the same? ;) Lovely pic in spite of the light, thanks a million for sharing!!! :t: :t: :t:

Edit: just noticed you've labelled it "Purple-throated"... but the Purple-throated is the one with dusky belly, I think!

I got this guy in my galleries as a White-bellied... and I know it is a White-bellied... For some reason I mess it up here with the Purple-throated!... I don't know why!...
