Spotted these eagles on three occasions while on vacation to Andaman Islands in the month of January. On all occasions, they were far away flying along the coast line. Bagged myself good number of lifers including this one... could have bagged more...but given the limited time I could spend on birding..usually early in the mornings while most of group and my family were fast asleep!!! Ours was a one week trip with four families(friends in Medical School)..kids had a great time...and the police had a tough time convincing my daughter to leave the beach at sundown!!!
