White-bellied Sea-Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster)

After leaving the Broome Bird Observatory, we drove back to Broome, stopping now and then to check for more birds. This was a long distance shot of this eagle, as he rested in the trees overlooking Roebuck Bay. Thank goodness for the 400mm lens!!

That was the only view I had of one Helen, up a tree and fairly distant. You got a better view than I did though.
