White Breasted Dishmop (Sitta carolinensis)

We've had two days straight of rain. Sometimes it's been torrential. A lot of the birds are starting to look quite soggy, like this nuthatch. I suspect this is a nesting female, it looks more bedraggled than even the rain should be making it.

She does look a bit sorry for herself, Bill! Birds have such a hard time in bad weather.
 
Great shot of this dishevelled Nuthatch, Bill! It's raining here too but not quite as much.
