Just beggining to shot RAW. This is ISO800 1/50 sec, f7.1, CWA, handheld at 200mm with my noisy sony alpha/sigma 70-300. ~50% crop.

Excellent image. I think you will see the benefits of RAW in time. Especially the lossless nature of the data in the image. Being able to PP at 16 bits is also an advantage. Soon as I saw this I knew it was not scoped. There is a descided magenta cast to the image where scope lean towards cyane. Great image. :t: :t: :t: :t:
You've done very well, a nicely composed and crisp shot ... keep practicing with RAW post processing and you'll be satisfied
