Not an easy bird to photograph, as others gave mentioned!This is mainly because of where it lives... in the mangroves!
Glimpsing it and hearing it is one thing but trying to photograph it in mangroves is a problem!
I spent over 2 weeks at the Broome Bird Observatory on Roebuck Bay trying to photograph this bird and it gave me only two opportunities when it was in the open.

Gorgeous bird and a brilliant close-up with excellent eye contact. I can relate, I have had some photographic problems with birds in mangroves of late myself. Congratulations and brilliant work Mike! TFS!
