White-capped Albatross (Diomedea cauta steadi)

Today I'm going for another aerial series, but not Wanderers this time. Oh, and since I managed to confuse KC about albatross sizes, and I'm sure KC is not someone easily confused, I thought I'd try to put in a table of the species I saw that day. May not be easy to do a table without being able to use the tab key, but I'll try - Albatrosses first, then Petrels and Shearwaters below, all adult male sizes ranges shown in my field guide:

species wing span range (m) weight range (k)
===============================
Wandering 2.5 - 3.5 8.2 - 12
S. Royal 3.05-3.6 9.6 - 11.5
W-capped 2.12-2.56 3.3 - 5.3
Salvin's 2.1 - 2.5 3.1 - 4.3
===============================
N. Giant 1.9 4.2 - 5.8
Westland 1.34-1.4 1.2
Cape 0.85 0.440
Fluttering 0.75 0.300-0.350
===============================
I hope that's got them sorted. |=)|
