A White Fronted Goose turned up at Hales Hall Pool near Cheadle (Staffs) recently found by an enthusiastic local young birder. I watched it yesterday morning on the water and later grazing in a field nearby. Today I thought I'd try and digiscope it so here it is.
Hales Hall Pool is a small expanse of water and this Goose was in with the flock of Canada Geese.
Early on in the month we had a Dark Bellied Brent Goose turn up at the same location. I wonder what will turn up next.
o What an "exciting pool" you have there, Dean!!! Great bird to find and photograph!!! :t: :t: :t: I've only seen it once (a vagrant, when I was still a kid... but I remember the event as if it was yesterday! o)
