White-fronted Honeyeater 1 (Purnella albifrons)

This bird has turned up locally way out of it's normal range and causing quite a stir with the birders, probably a result of the recent bushfires and drought. Only one shot in Opus from way back and even this doesn't appear in the gallery for some reason so posting three of this particular bird .

I'm glad you mentioned re Opus, Ken, I posted a photo of this in November last year and it wasn't in Opus. I've edited the post and now it's there! Three superb shots, well done!

Such a lovely honeyeater - you must have been thrilled to see him Ken!!

You got me searching records and I did see, and photograph one at Gluepot, but somehow missed it of the thread and species list!

Thanks for showing us this gorgeous picture lad.
