This is the white pheasant who spent much of the winter in our garden with her sisters. We've not seen much of the ladies recently, though the chaps have been strutting up and down self-importantly.

the gamekeepers put a couple of white ones in each wood here and they are never shot, so if they disappeared it`s a good sign poachers have been about....
