White Stork (Ciconia ciconia)

Not the best shot, I took it one-handed as I was on the way back from the car with lunch in the other hand! Didn't want to drop anything and disturb the birds - there were two of them. Thought it was an interesting behaviour shot worth posting.

Wow! I wonder if birds instinctively know if a snake is venomous and if not what's to stop a snake from biting on its way down. An amazing capture Chirs.
