Zooming into what I assumed to be a disproportionately fat kite in this distance led to this result. At a distance of approximately 500 metres, I saw this white-tailed eagle nest. The two eagles in the nest appear to be immature birds, whilst the one above them is a definitive adult. I have never seen more than one white-tailed eagle at any one time. I am publishing this photograph only because the nest is on a well-known place for them: the northern part of the Volgograd reservoir, which is massive and, furthermore, completely impenetrable, and, what's more, a disclosed site for eagles. Another eagle was found nearby.
