White-tailed Jay (Cyanocorax mystacalis)

Immature bird as seen by color of the eye and the less then full development of the white above the eye. This bird has raised the feathers on its rear crown as a crest.

What a great picture and find for you Niels. This needs to be on The Opus article.

Talking of which I think one of Stanley's (or your adult) would be better on the page than the current one. And I'm not sure what Jean-Paul's picture adds to the mix?
