We have one around here! Well, we actually have at least two -- maybe MORE by now (since I think their young'uns should be about by now). The male here loves to attack the local male red-tailed hawk (I call him "Maury" -- don't ask me why ;o) ). I wrote a blog fairly recently about the differences in the two. The kite is SO quick and can "turn on a dime"! Poor Maury looks like a dirigible next to it! I envy your shot. I only have ONE fairly decent shot of our white-tailed kite and it's from MUCH further away... :^(
