White Throated Dipper (Cinclus cinclus)

White Throated Dipper - My third lifer post this week. Unfortunately, this dipper didn't, he just sat on the rock for a while then flew away. Still there is always next time....
Habitat
Found along fast-flowing rivers, mainly in upland areas but also on lowland rivers in SW England. Look for tell-tale droppings on stones in the river.

Oh well done Keith... these have love been a favourite bird of mine. What a great picture you got of him too.

I was so miffed yesterday, I spent ages at a spot in our river where they usually hang out, but there was no sign at all. On my way back one shot past me; so goodness knows where he'd been.
