White Throated Sparrows are a dime a dozen around here, but they're almost always on the ground. They're actually quite attractive in the right setting.

That's a tremendous picture you've taken of this guy lad - very well done.
BTW the new system searches the Gallery differently and is only picking up images via information in the Tags. So, as well as entering the scientific name in the Scientific Name field, it also needs to be entered as a Tag, along with the common name if that isn't already in the title. Any other information you want to add to the Tags would be a bonus! I hope you can help with this.

Hi Hugh, yes, I've been putting some in as I browse the Gallery. particularly on nice pictures of birds we don't see too often. Hope you don't mind that I did that for you.
