White-throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis)

A common winter visitor in New Jersey , I look forward to seeing them every November. This is the tan striped morph picking at Sumac berries.

Great shot of a wonderful sparrow. I just love these birds. We have five to ten of these birds coming into the feeders with the JUncos right now and there is one really beautiful white striped morph with the group. I haven't gotten a good pic of it yet but am working on it. I also have a couple Am. Tree Sparrows in with this mixed flock this winter. Fun stuff!
