White-tufted Grebe (Rollandia rolland)

Too bad the light was so murky that day. Too bad this grebe didn't come closer. I've got two shots that were sharp enough that I could crop them a bit, but neither really does justice to this bird's beauty. Oh well. It was a joy to see, and the last of my Argentina lifers. |=)| Nr. 83, I think.

A beautiful grebe indeed (just looked at the Opus picture;):-O) At least you saw the bird and got recognisable images of it... the weather can be a right pain, can't it.
