WHITETHROAT

this bird came out of nowhere and perched very close to me for about 3 seconds. it was so fast he just looked in my direction and flew off rapidly. i am gutted he did not just turn his head for a profile shot, and in my haste to get a shot off i clipped the end of his tail off. oh well, next time i shall take some superglue with me (only jesting).

A real stunner. Very well detailed. Ive been strugling to get close enough to our local Whitethroats.
