Whooper Swans
This was a small group that had just arrived at Kinnordy to spend the winter with us.

I love these swans.

I'd taken a long series of images of them flying across and landing; this was the best of them. Shame they landed right on the far side of the loch though.

What a treat it had to be to following these three swans across the loch to a landing site. Beautiful lighting, birds and setting D!!! TFS!!!!

Whoop whoop! :D Great to see them swimming for once. I usually see them wading in shallows or foraging in fields.
 
I love these swans and your photo you couldn't have timed it better like an intro to swan lake love it.
