Why? Prothonotary Warbler (Protonotaria citrea)

Every Birder's nightmare. You actually see something rare in your parts. You wait calmy not to scare the bird and slowing lift your camera and pray to Jesus for help before you shoot and then this happens. Laughing out loud you didn't get a second chance either. I thought this would be something that we all could relate to. I in no way am whining it's just the price of life. My Daddy use to say sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes the bear eats you. :)

Oh dear. I feel for you Daniel.... been there 101 times (probably more LOL)

You saw the bird (your local rarity)... and, as other said... you've got a record shot to prove it.

Well done my friend.

One little leaftip catches the focus beam's attention and all of a sudden the camera has been distracted ... Yes, we can all relate to that ;)
