Wiew from the Hide (Oak Wood)

Work on going, but this may give you an overall picture of what can be seen from my hide. The pond is approx 3m so to the first logs is about 3 1/2m from camera lens. You can see the Niger feeder which is bringing in the flock of Goldfinches. A magic moment happened today!! A Wood Warbler landed on the camo covering my lens!! watch in awe as it looked round then flew of to a distant tree, but a wonderful experience. Would love it to land close by.Also the Male Woodpecker stop for a feed so thats encouraging as well. Not to sure were to post it ,so put it in Landscapes.

Nice shot, Ken. It puts into perspective all those logs we usually see with birds on them!

nice arrangement of logs ken a lot of time and thought gone into it,but well worth it with all the great shots you get

What a stunning view Ken, I cant imagine how much hard work you have put into this, absolutely brilliant. I hope that I will be able to come and view it in the flesh sometime this year, goo work.

What a great set up. No wonder you get such a good selection of bids and such good photos. Finger's crossed the Wood Warbler will return - such beautiful birds but unfortunately declining in numbers each year in my area.
