Willing Willow

Compared to sedge and Cetti's warblers, this willow warbler was most willing to come out in the open for some pics. It made a nice change, though it wasn't easy as it still rarely stopped moving about.

That's my experience of Willows too. They're very restless but not shy. This is a terrific capture and the bird actually looks quite relaxed.
I had a very frustrating experience with a Lesser Whitethroat yesterday that resulted in blurred images and twigs. Why are some birds so afraid of cameras? :)
 
No idea, and some are those that you'd think would be used to people, like pigeons and sparrows. :-O
