Windy Chats (Saxicola torquata)

A pair of Stonechats having their feathers ruffled as they keep a lookout in the fresh wind at Strumpshaw on Sunday. It's the first time I've managed to photograph both birds together. Ron
Habitat
Water meadows
Location
Strumpshaw Fen, Norfolk
Date taken
9/11/08
Scientific name
Saxicola torquata
Equipment used
Olympus E-510 + ED 70-300 + 1.4 tc
Well done in getting them both together. They always seem to hang around together but seldom as close as this for photos.

A loud  for the lovely pair standing stoically the harsh wind and another one to you for snapping them so beautifully, Ron!!! :t: :t: :t:
