Winter - 18 (Tringa totanus)

Winter - 18 ...

Morning after ...
... the celebrations

Locals ... and
long-distance guests ...

Loved the way
... the Redshank has
tucked himself up
... underneath ...
the tall stints ...

Feeling fully safe
and secure ...
Happy in his early morning
dreams ...

In those very
wetlands ... that shall
vanish ... and be
no more ... in 2016

Blissfully unaware of the impending loss of habitat Alok. Thanks for showing this scene which will soon be lost forever.

A beautiful picture showing these lovely waders, such a shame you will soon no longer see them there Alok.

Many thanks for sharing them with us.

A beautiful image, Alok, but alas, a sad lament. My hope is they find a suitable home.
