It was day-break ... Sun
sending near-horizontal
rays ...
... the beach was
covered with
broken shells and
gravel ... sharp ... almost
like fine glass pieces ...
piercing the sole ...
and I had to walk three
quarters of a km. to
reach within a reasonable
distance to have a
presentable shot ...
... blood collecting under
the skin of my feet as
I gingerly walked bare-feet
... leaving my waterproof
shoes in the hotel-room ...
Kunal ( local birder friend )
and Renu were much wiser
though ...
... But ... about half a
dozen fabulous lifer species
along with
this pretty one were a
huge reward ...
