Winter - 44 (Iduna rama)

The Beach ... and the Bush

Well ... the beach saga
is far from over ...
... some more lifers
still left to share ...
... and will be here
soon ...

This ... I thought
may be an interesting
interlude ...

A lifer in the bush ...

As we were moving out
... of the beach
thrilled to the gills ...
... so to say

Renu spotted a smallish
bird in the clump
of Acacia ... and we
slowly and cautiously
homed in ...

... a rather plain looking
warbler ... fast and
fidgety ...
but ... luckily ... we
could focus on ... got
this still ...

only fifth
to come here ...

... getting a small
video-clip as well ...
a first
for the BFtv ...

What a wonderful picture you've taken of this warbler Alok - no wonder they found it so easy to confirm the ID for you. Think this guy will be winging his way to Opus shortly!

Many congratulations on your Lifer that area seems to be a real hot spot, doesn't it. Think you'll be back there (with shoes;)).

Thanks so much for sharing this scarcity with us my friend.

Congratulations on your lifer, Alok. Renu has very sharp eyes! A stunning close-up of this rare warbler. Wonderful detail.

The detail is fabulous, Alok. A wonderful capture of your lifer.
