A winter visitor to the
coastal areas of India ...
... with very infrequent
sighting around inland
waterbodies ...

There was a Eurasian Curlew
too, in the vicinity ...
and we got only one shot
that has both of
them ... nicely showing
the difference ...
... I'll post it later ...

Congratulations! Aren't they great? Of course, for me it's the beach that's the rarity ;) I've seen these in San Francisco, but never in India. Never in Norway either, for that matter, although they do occur here, supposedly even quite common.
