Winter again (Columba palumbus)

Such is April here. One day we think Summer is just around the corner. Then we turn that corner only to find it was Winter waiting there instead. We had a couple more such bursts of Winter in April, but hopefully we've seen the last of it now.

It looks like this pigeon has been down this road before (lol). It looks quite comfortable in the snow. Lovely picture Doc!

.... hopefully Ann... still pretty cool here, but rain now not the white stuff (more hail-like than snow-like the other day)!

Poor pigeon must have cold feet, though the snow looks a bit soft so maybe it's just a blanket keeping the ground warm underneath LOL.
