Winter Light
The afternoon light has a quality this time of year like no other. The sun is so low in the sky that it shines through the trees on my neighbor's property and provides some interesting photo ops.

I thought Aki and Ove would enjoy this image! Cheers!

I enjoy it as wel Deanne :D Gorgeous light indeed, what a cracker :t::t::t:

I enjoy this a lot, Deanne. Opening the thumbnail this was a mystery who has taken this kind of pic. I thought it might be Hanss.. A bit wide composition for you. Maybe thats why you thought Ove and me. I remember some twiggy compositions from you before. Have to check your gallery. I always like the play between twigs and light. Nuthatch is a good Ove-bird. I have never seen it. It is offering its breast to the sun. Love this! Thanks, Deanne. :t:

Sorry i'm a bit late,Deanne. The low light makes for great pictures like this. In fact, the sun is so low it barely rises over the treetops. It's like shooting at 3:30 in the morning in summer, compared to 12 o'clock in winter. I like how the backlighting caresses the chest of your Nutty. This is superb.

Thanks so much everyone! so happy you like this Nutty in low winter light. I appreciate your kind comments!
