Winter Mixture (Gallinago gallinago)

A couple of Snipe and a Lapwing on a calm autumn afternoon at Minsmere. It's good to see the Snipe back in good numbers for the winter as they are one of my favourite birds. I love trying to spot them when they are not in the open like these two. Winter Mixture sweets - mmmm. Ron
