Wintering Cranes (Grus monacha, Grus vipio)

A huge wintering flock of Hooded and White-naped Cranes at Crane Observation Center in Arasaki, Izumi, Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan.
Seeds are being put out on the road before sunrise, just before the cranes fly over from their roosting sites and start to gather and feed.
