wood pigeon

I took a visit to my local park to see if goosander were there and try out my 300 with 1.4 and 2X converter on them. There was not much on the lake and my local heron was not playing ball either. However, this woody was game. Often they are very flighty so it was back to the Dancy crawl which seemed to have paid off. Of course it may not have been necessary. I rather enjoyed doing this woody which provided me with all sorts of shots with the way he posing and fluffing out his feathers and I was pleased with the 300 plus 2X converter combination.

The Dancy crawl is a winner once more!;)

Any bird is beautifully captured by you, Goosander or Woody.
Well done Adrian :t::t::t:

Well done Adrian, great results from your 'Dancy Crawl'. Great capture! I really need to get out of the blind and give that a try sometime.

Lovely Woody image Adi, hope you didn't get too many strange looks crawling around in the park mate.
