wood pigeon

I took a visit to my local park to see if goosander were there and try out my 300 with 1.4 and 2X converter on them. There was not much on the lake and my local heron was not playing ball either. However, this woody was game. Often they are very flighty so it was back to the Dancy crawl which seemed to have paid off. Of course it may not have been necessary. I rather enjoyed doing this woody which provided me with all sorts of shots with the way he posing and fluffing out his feathers and I was pleased with the 300 plus 2X converter combination.

  Wonderful and different Woodie caught doing its bussiness!!! Gorgeous the detail and hues on that lovely head, and of course the DOF!!! :t: :loveme: Cheers, Adrian!

(If I was seen crawling in the park after the Pigeons, sure I'd be taken to the local mental hospital in a jiffy!!! :eek!: Differences between Spain and England! ;))
