Wood Stork (Mycteria americana)

I am still processing photos from our vacation in June. I kinda liked this one, because the woodies are endangered so they are not all that common, except in specific locations.
Habitat
Harris Neck NWR
Location
South Newport, Georgia, USA
Date taken
June 2008
Scientific name
Mycteria americana
Equipment used
Canon XTi - Canon 100-400
Nice flight shot Bob, saw my 1st of these in Florida last February. They look so great in the air, like they shouldn't be there. lol. good work

Bob: without question your best flight captures to date. You did well with the exposure. Shadowed areas show good detail. Composition and bird position (facing forward, great wing position) very good as well. No post-processing defects that I can see. Good Job!~Bill
