Wood Thrush
I heard this guy loooong before I saw him. He was pretty deep off the trail, and I scanned the trees several times. Finally, I caught his silhouette. Hiding in plain sight. He was around 30 yards or so off the trail. Plain looking guy with a pretty and complex song.

A brilliantly detailed portrait of him, Scott. Is his other leg tucked up?

These are such lovely thrushes Scott and you've taken a super picture of him up there on his favourite branch.

Excellent work lad - very well done.

A beautiful closeup of this singing Thrush Scott and a great capture.

Thank you for the kind words, all. Much appreciated.

Mo and Kits, I was shocked, when I started sorting through the pics, to discover what I thought was a one-legged Thrush, LOL. However, thankfully, I found a pic or two with both of his legs grasping the branch. I suspect he wanted to add a little drama to his song. :)

Thank you, all, again.
