Woodrow enjoying a snack (Leuconotopicus villosus)

This large male Hairy woodpecker, whom we have named Woodrow, is addicted to peanut butter. I mean, REALLY addicted. He's often so impatient for it, he will fly at the windows, and hang from the rain gutter and peer in through the windows to get my attention. When I go out to place some for him, he will come down and eat it right off the knife!

That's a great picture you've taken of this lovely woodie Bill... one of my favourites of your birds.

Thanks for the video too... I've amended the link you gave, so it goes directly to your video. Could you do me a favour and edit the title to remove the stray [ in the middle of wood and pecker; it stops it from linking via Opus.
