Woody (f)
There are a couple of GSWs setting up a nest nearby and both male & female are visiting our feeders in the garden regularly. Here's hoping for some fledglings soon....

You've got some pretty light on this Pecker Daz...Super capture mate.

Always a good bird for the garden, Darrel; looks good against that green BG too. (I've had these in the garden regularly for a few years now, although not seen them much this year due to the Council cutting down trees. The most popular food, apart from peanuts, was Lard with seeds mixed in; they'd fight with the Starlings to get at the food)

A superb, detailed image of this beautiful female in your garden, Darrel !!! Fingers crossed there will be some young ones soon. Thanks for sharing.

Grrrr.... not found one on my trip so far Darrel. There's supposed to be some at Sculthorpe (seen by others of course) but I've not even heard one. Another trip there planned, so you never know!!;)

A super picture you've got of this one - very well done lad. Good luck to her wee ones.
