The waders and waterfowl seem to disappear when it's very icy but at least some of our old faithful Gulls stay behind!

Looks like Strictly Skating On Ice Ron, straight from Ally Pally, god un mate.
 
Nice capture Ron , this type of shot must have amused you to watch them coming into land, the ice gives of a nice reflective light ,well done.
