yellow-bellied sapsucker (Sphyrapicus varius)

This fellow visited my feeder for the third consecutive winter. They are not usual residents of Ohio, so am not sure if he is just passing through in migration, or if he sticks it out through the winter. He usually shows up on the most blustery of winter days and will hang out most of the day. It is such a treat for me to see him!
