Yellow-crowned Night-Heron Immature GALAP SER
A single beam of sunlight found parts of this bird. Shade envelops the remainder of the image. This bird was foraging among boulders at the end of a sandy marine beach.

This one is an immature Yellow-crowned Night Heron - compare the longer legs and short, stout bill with your Lava Heron next pic along ;-)
