Yellow-crowned Night-Heron Juvenile with Hermit Crab C-RICA SER 2 (Nyctanassa violacea)

I photographed this bird from a boat. The bird was on the mud in a mangrove, and was in a dappling of bright sunlight and deep shade. Enhancement with Photoshop helped only a little to produce an acceptable image, but despite its photographic shortcomings I upload it here because the juvenile of this species isn't often pictured, even lacking a recently captured hermit crab. To my eye, this juvenile night heron resembles a thick knee.
