Habitat
Gulf Coast Marshes and Prairies vegetation area. Shallow freshwater pond “marsh” with some open water, surrounded by marshes and coastal prairie on all sides at ca. 1.5 m (4.9 ft) elevation.
Location
Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Shoveler Pond, Chambers County, Texas, USA.
