Yellow-crowned Night-Heron (nyctanassa violacea)

On the island there is a huge shopping mall, and on one side is a wetland. Above this they made a nature trail looking out across the bay. If you turn around you see cars and shops, kind of weird but kind of nice.

Not only budget-friendly shopping, also budget-friendly birding 👀. Afterwards a good burger while watching the results of your wildlife session. A wonderful close-up of this beautiful night heron. Many bird species have to adapt and its often not a problem for them, if there is a single chance to find food, maybe a breeding place as well. Maybe not completely an anthropophilous sp. but for sure not a hemerphobic species.
