Yellow-headed Blackbird
This adult male has become a local celebrity hanging out with Brewer's Blackbirds in the parking lot of historic Stilwell Hall in the San Francisco Presidio for the last several days. This iconic species is a scarce migrant to the coast of California from breeding areas in wetlands of the interior Central Valley and Great Basin regions.
