Gardens and disturbed Pacific tropical dry forest; foothills of Volcán Rincón de la Vieja at ca. 543 m (1,782 ft) elevation.

Hacienda Guachipelin, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.

Well spotted and captured. A brilliant portrait/compo of this tropical bird of prey. Due to eBird possibly an immature bird. Maybe I´am wrong.
